Activists 'blocked from West Bank'

FRENCHMAN Philippe Arnaud said he and seven other pro-Palestinian activists had been blocked from flying to Israel to take part in what they say is a peace mission to the West Bank.

Hundreds of police took up positions at Israel's international airport yesterday in anticipation of activists flying to the country.
