Action on epilepsy care

A CHARITY supporting people in the Lothians with epilepsy has teamed up with the Scottish Ambulance Service to improve the quality of care for sufferers.

Epilepsy Scotland is helping make sure staff know what to do when encountering a patient with the condition.

A spokeswoman for the charity said: "We have partnered with the Scottish Ambulance Service to create better pathways for people with epilepsy who need emergency care. Together we are looking at how ambulance crews can best help those having seizures."
