Aberdeen woman killed in crash with Ross County fan bus is named

An Aberdeen woman has been named as the motorcycle passenger killed in a fatal crash with a supporters bus carrying Ross County football fans.

Carol Walker, 43, died in the incident about 11:15am on Saturday.

She was riding as the pillion passenger on the bike when she was killed in the collision.

The crash happened on the A9 close to Kindallachan, in Perth and Kinross.

Police Scotland said in a statement: “Our thoughts are with her family and friends.

“Enquiries are continuing and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal in due course.”

The man who was riding the bike was also injured and taken to hospital.

None of the Ross County fans in the bus were understood to be hurt.
