Aberdeen sex attack: Police release image of man

POLICE Scotland today issued CCTV images of a man they are seeking in connection with a sex attack on a woman in Aberdeen earlier in the summer.

he 30 year-old female was sexually assaulted during the early hours of Sunday, 30 June, near the Bridge of Dee.

A force spokeswoman said: “We have released CCTV images of a man we wish to trace in connection with our enquiries.”

Detective Inspector Lorna Ferguson, who is leading the investigation, said: “I would urge the male depicted in the CCTV footage to come forward and assist us with our on-going enquiries. I would also appeal to anyone who recognises the male to make contact with the Police and pass on their details.”

She added: “Anyone who recognises the image or who has any knowledge of the person responsible should contact Police Service of Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
