The men, who live locally, made no plea and were released on bail.

Mr Grant’s family said his death would leave a hole in the lives of everyone who knew him.

He was a devoted husband to Fiona and father to Owen, they said in a statement.

A family spokesman said: “The last few days really haven’t sunk in yet and we are still coming to terms with this unexpected loss.

“Craig always had time for his friends and would have done anything to help them. I know they will miss him greatly.

“He was learning to play the guitar and a passionate sportsman, with golf and football being particular favourites. A keen Celtic fan, Craig liked nothing more than watching his son and nephews play football on a Sunday.

“Craig worked as a tool specialist in the offshore industry and had done that since 2006. He will be sorely missed and his loss will leave a hole in the lives of everyone who knew him.”

Police were called to the Galleria centre at the junction of Bon Accord Street and Langstane Place at around 12.10am on Friday.
