Aberdeen man hit by car and seriously injured

A TEENAGE pedestrian has been seriously injured after being hit by a car in Aberdeen.

The 19-year-old man was injured on the A944 near Kingswells roundabout on the outskirts of the city at about 4am.

He was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with serious injuries. The driver of the car was unhurt.

A section of the A944 has been closed while police investigate the accident.
