Aberdeen indecent assault suspect CCTV released

POLICE Scotland today issued CCTV images of a man they would like to trace in connection with indecent assaults on two men in a city centre shop in Aberdeen.

A force spokesman said: “The incidents happened between 18 June and 20 June within retail premises on Union Street, Aberdeen, and two men, aged 35 and 38, were assaulted within the store.

“The man Police would like to speak to is described as being aged between 30 and 40, of Asian appearance, about 5ft 10 inches tall, stocky build with short black hair and a beard. He is known to have worn an all grey tracksuit with a white stripe across the chest.”

The force spokesman stressed: “These types of incidents are very rare in Aberdeen City Centre which is why we have taken the decision to release these images so the public can assist us in identifying the person pictured and allow us to speak to him to assist with our enquiries.

“We would urge members of the public who recognise the male in the image to contact Police Scotland on 101.”
