Abduction fear

A MANHUNT has been launched after reports of a possible abduction in Glasgow. Police are looking for a man who is reported to have pushed a young woman into a car in the Milngavie area on Friday evening.

The man is thought to have forced the woman into a blue or silver Renault people carrier, on Clober Road, at about 10pm.

The drive being sought is described as aged 35 to 40, with a stocky build, and 5ft 8in to 6ft.

Strathclyde Police are appealing for information, but Chief Inspector Grahame Clarke stressed that there was not yet any evidence that a crime had taken place.
