A wheely great way to help health charity

CHEST Heart & Stroke Scotland is urging people to take part in its Canal Cycle Ride.

The charity event will see participants cycle along the towpath of the Forth and Clyde Union Canals, from Glasgow to Edinburgh via the Falkirk Wheel.

More than 650 cyclists have taken part in the event over the last four years, raising more than 65,000 for Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland.

There are three options available including cycling the full 50-mile route from Glasgow to Edinburgh, starting from Glasgow and finishing at the Falkirk Wheel, or cycling the 25-mile section from the Falkirk Wheel to Edinburgh.
