A sprinkling of Stardust hits the stage

SINGER Alvin Stardust is set to perform at Brunton Theatre in Musselburgh later this year.

The man dubbed "The Godfather of British Rock 'n' Roll" will bring his new stage show to the theatre with his hand-picked band of backing musicians, celebrating hits such as My Coo Ca Choo and Jealous Mind, as well as other songs loved by audiences from the late 1950s to the early 1980s.

The pop star - who clocked up seven top-ten entries including Red Dress, Good Love Can Never Die and You, You, You - is set to play to a packed house at the theatre in East Lothian on October 21, with tickets priced at 15 on sale from www.the booth.co.uk.
