A romantic ramble for St Valentine's

NATURE lovers can enjoy a romantic ramble as a wildlife reserve hosts a free open day on St Valentine's Day. The Scottish Wildlife Trust is hosting the event at Bawsinch and Duddingston Wildlife Reserve, at the southern end of Holyrood Park, from 11am-4pm.

They are offering guided walks, taking in the beautiful surroundings and giving an insight into the wildlife and habitats. Look for bird species, such as great crested grebes and mute swans, from the comfort of Connell Hide.
