A Liddell bit of a revamp

A CHRISTIAN community centre in Morningside is set to undergo a refurbishment following a £40,000 grant by the council.

The Eric Liddell Centre, on Morningside Road, is set to benefit from a new access ramp and glazed screen fitted to the north-west tower door.

The centre was one of nine community groups given a reprieve from funding cuts at a council meeting last March, where it was decided to award the centre a grant totalling 40,596.
