A European welcome

Tourism groups have come together to set up a major travel event in Edinburgh.

The Route Development Forum, made up of the Destination Edinburgh Marketing Alliance (DEMA), Scottish Enterprise, Edinburgh Airport and VisitScotland, are bringing German and Norwegian journalists to the capital to promote the new easyJet route to Cologne and the existing link with Oslo. DEMA boss Kenneth Wardrop said it will strengthen the city's competitive position.
