9am Briefing: Three shot outside pub owned by family of Hibs star Stokes

THREE people have been shot outside a pub owned by the family of Hibs and Republic of Ireland striker Anthony Stokes, it was reported today.

One line of inquiry surrounding the triple shooting is thought to be the possibility that it was part of a turf war over who runs door security on bars in the Fairview area of Dublin, where the pub is located.

Doorman, Wayne Barrett, 31, who was shot in the head, is thought to have been the prime target for the attack it was reported.
