400 'missing' after Brazil mudslides

SOME 400 people are registered as missing after last week's Brazilian mudslides that killed at least 767 people.

The death toll from slides triggered by deluges in mountain towns just north of Rio rose yesterday as recovery teams reached isolated areas and dug out more bodies.
