2m milestone for seabird attraction

TV presenter Simon King has welcomed the two millionth visitor to the Scottish Seabird Centre in North Berwick.

The wildlife expert met Gemma Cadden, eight, who was visiting the centre from Leamington Spa with her family.

Chief executive Tom Brock said: "It is a major achievement to have reached our milestone two millionth visitor in our tenth year.

"We've come a long way in the last ten years and I'm delighted to report that we are now approaching 300,000 visits a year to the centre and a million visits on our website."
