MICHELIN-starred restaurant 21212, in Royal Terrace, has been named restaurant newcomer of the year at the Catering in Scotland awards.

The restaurant, run by chef Paul Kitching, picked up its Michelin star in January. He said: "This is great news for us, especially after celebrating our first anniversary this month."
