Weekend predicted to be busiest of 2016 for online dating

This weekend will be the busiest of the year for online dating, it has been estimated.

Women age 30 and men age 25 are most likely to log on to online dating sites

Women aged 30 and 25-year-old men are the most likely to log on to try to find a partner, according to relationship site eHarmony.

Communications between members of the site are expected to pass a million in January as people start to think about the new year.

Jemima Wade, of eHarmony, said: “Over the festive period it’s easy to lose track of your love life while surrounded by friends and family.

“As people step into 2016 and begin to re-evaluate their priorities, we see a significant uplift in people coming to the site.”
