Hot tub lodges to glamping pods - Highland Holidays new site at Ben Nevis Holiday Park, Fort William
When lockdown lifts and we can get out and about again for an activity-packed weekend away or even just a beautiful spot to sit and gaze at the mountains, Highland Holidays’ newly-launched Ben Nevis Holiday Park in Fort William is a breath of fresh air and tranquillity.
This new holiday park in the outdoor capital has luxury lodges with hot tubs, cosy self-catering lodges, apartments with a view of Ben Nevis, versatile caravans and Scandi-style glamping pods for those who like camping with benefits.
Whether you’re into skiing or stargazing, hillwalking or hot-tubbing, Highland Holidays’ brand-new collection of luxurious lodges and pods are the ideal place to begin again and rediscover what Scotland has to offer and make this the year of the staycation.
Highland Holidays is currently closed due to the Scottish lockdown, and restrictions permitting, will reopen on 1 February 2021. Highland Holidays is Visit Scotland ‘Good to Go’ certified and adheres to the Hoseasons ‘Safer Stays’ initiative. A ‘Safer Stays’ brochure detailing precautions and guidelines can be downloaded from the Highland Holidays website.
Budget or boutique?
Both. There’s a range of accommodation to suit various budgets with options for both camping and static accommodation and for a more luxurious stay, the cosy lodges and superior hot tub lodges offer a boutique self-catering experience.
There are various options for couples, groups and families including lodges, apartments, caravans and pods, all with equipped kitchens or kitchenettes and the Park has a laundry. The Highland and Highland Premier caravans have electric or central heating, the Nevis View Apartment has stunning views of the mountain and the new Scandinavian-style Highland Pods are ideal for couples or a small family, with a double bed and sofa bed, ensuite shower room with W.C, fully equipped kitchenette with hob and microwave, fridge with freezer box, flat screen TV and bed linen and duvets.
There are also four lodge styles to choose from: the cosy Ben Nevis lodges for family getaways and for the ultimate relaxing experience, the new Nevis Hot Tub lodges have ensuite shower rooms, large TVs with soundbar and DVD player, wine coolers, and private outdoor terrace or balcony complete with hot tub.
Wining and Dining
Highland Holidays is a self-catering destination, and static accommodation is equipped with everything guests need to whip up their own feasts. Campers are invited to use BBQs and gas stoves, if used safely and responsibly, and Fort William is a short drive away for supermarkets.
