Matfen Hall’s championship golf course amid the rolling Northumberland countryside is one of the best places to take your clubs anywhere in the UK. There some interesting features to overcome, including a traditional Ha-Ha stone wall and a 3-hole loop that sweeps around the main lake. For a shorter round, a Par-3 course is just as stunning and is good for novices. The hotel also has The Academy with PGA-level golf coaching available for guests.
