11 ‘low risk’ countries UK tourists can now visit
These are 11 destinations that British holidaymakers can now travel to, but some restrictions may be in place, so check the FCO website before travel.

5. Germany
There are currently no general COVID-19-related restrictions on entry into Germany from the UK. However you may have to go into quarantine if you are entering from an area where there is a high rate of infection (Photo: Shutterstock) Photo: Shutterstock

6. Greece
Greece is also now open for holidaymakers, but if you travel to Greece, you will need to complete a Passenger Locator Form at least 48 hours before travel and you may be required to take a test for coronavirus (COVID-19) and undergo a period of self-isolation (Photo: Shutterstock) Photo: Shutterstock

7. Iceland
Although tourists can now visit Iceland, everyone flying into the country must choose to pay to be tested for coronavirus or self-isolate for 14 days upon arrival. Children born in 2005 or later are exempt (Photo: Shutterstock) Photo: Shutterstock

8. Italy
Italy is also open to British travellers, but using masks currently remains mandatory in enclosed public spaces (and in all public spaces in Lombardy and Piedmont) (Photo: Shutterstock) Photo: Shutterstock
