Seven Dials is a historic neighbourhood in London like no other. A one-of-a-kind destination in the bustling heart of London’s West End – nestled between Covent Garden, Leicester Square and Soho. Set at a slower pace, the roads within Seven Dials are an escape from the busy streets of the city and home to 90 stores including world-renowned international flagships and concept stores, beauty and grooming boutiques as well as over 50 contemporary cafes, restaurants, bars and pubs.

What to expect for the Jubilee weekend

Throughout the Bank Holiday weekend there will be a host of events in and around these streets as Seven Dials shops and restaurants come together for this special occasion. The streets will be festooned with red, white and blue bunting and you can expect live 1950s- themed music across the streets, a fun tombola, themed menus, workshops and masterclasses.

You could try your hand at the flower crown-making workshop, enjoy Queen-themed pizzas and cocktails, join an English sparkling wine tasting session or join a burlesque masterclass.

Get in the spirit of the crown with the Seven Dials flower crown-making workshop on Monmouth Street on Thursday, June 2nd. The team will be teaching you how to make your very own flower crowns, composed of the finest flowers in bloom at this free, first come first served event on Monmouth Street.

Stretch Inc also invites you down to a group aerobic stretching class with a ‘50s twist - dress in ‘50s and ‘60s workout attire alongside a kitted out stretchologist and some classic ‘50s and ‘60s music to get you in the mood for a stretch.

The lingerie experts at Coco de Mer will be treating adults to a masterclass in the art of burlesque from the famed Miss Fallon Dee. Join Miss Dee in a session mastering the ways of the burlesque dancer, learning techniques from the 1950’s and beyond.

Some events are ticketed – so you’d need to book – but others will be open on a first-come first-served basis.

Royal food and drink

Enjoy a jubilant range of food and drink offerings including a Royal Cocktail at St Martin’s House, or how about a Royal Afternoon Tea at the Covent Garden Hotel? Toast the special occasion with a glass of Rathfinny Classic Cuvée or a ‘Lilibet’ cocktail whilst a selection of tea sandwiches are served, including traditional favourites such as coronation chicken and English scones and preserves. You can enjoy a choice of quality teas and speciality infusions whilst sweet treats such as Pimm’s cheesecake and Victoria sponge follow. The Royal Afternoon Tea is available in the Drawing Room and at Brasserie Max inside the hotel.

Ever tried pineapple upside down cake? Located on the corner of the Dial, the Apple Butter Café will be serving classic 1950's treats all week long. Try their classic coronation chicken sandwich or a Jubilee ice cream sundae for dessert.

Try an English Sparkling Wine Flight at Compagnie des Vins Surnaturels, Neal's Yard or try an exclusive Elizabeth Pizza at Rossopomodoro or Homeslice.
