Now that the travel ban has been lifted, cyclists are finally able to leave their council area and will be looking to cycle further afield.
With this in mind, here are 11 of the best places in Scotland to get in the saddle.
1. Devilla Forest
Forest trails are great fun for cyclists and the network of paths at Devilla Forest, near Kincardine in Fife, is a great example. Set off from the car park and choose a route that matches the time you have available and your fitness.
2. Cathkin Braes
Boasting incredible views over Glasgow to the Campsie Hills beyond, Cathkin Braes features a mix of dedicated mountain bike trails that were used for the 2014 Commonwealth Games and a network of fun paths suitable for all abilities.
3. Clyde Walkway
Part of the Glasgow to Inverness Cycle route, cyclists can enjoy great views over the Clyde as they pedal the traffic-free route from the Riverside Transport Museum to Glasgow Green via the city centre.
4. Isle of Bute
Pop over on the ferry with your bike to the Isle of Bute to enjoy a easy-to-follow circular route taking you around the entire island. If the 23 mile distance is too much there's always the shorter cycle to visit the stunning mansion and gardens of Mount Stuart.
