Multi-million Pound Scottish Property: Here are 13 of the most expensive properties currently for sale in Scotland - from Victorian townhouses to historic castles
House prices may be falling in many parts of Scotland, but at the top of the market there are no shortage of seven-figure properties on the market.
Earlier this year the Office for National Statistics (ONS) and HM Land Registry published the latest official house price data which showed that the average house price in Scotland stood at £187,200 in December – 2.9 per cent lower than in November, when prices were at £192,840 but 5.7 per cent higher than in December last year, when the average was £177,030.
Those two problems probably won’t be of too much concern to those thinking of buying one of these lavish houses though.
