Luxury homes set for development in Edinburgh suburb
Two distinct and brand new developments will mark the return of an upmarket homebuilder to a highly desirable suburb of Edinburgh.
CALA Homes (East) is preparing to launch two new sites, Ravelrig Heights and Kingfisher Park, in an area in which it has had a longstanding and close connection.

Many of the homes will benefit from breathtaking views across open fields towards Edinburgh, with large gardens and expansive living areas ideally suited to family life.
Kingfisher Park will offer a wide selection of homes to suit a varied range of needs, making them perfect for younger families and downsizers too.
With the first phase featuring just twenty four and five bedroom detached homes, the second includes a variety of apartments, terraced homes, townhouses and three bedroom homes .

Philip Hogg, Sales and Marketing Director with CALA Homes (East), said: “We’re thrilled to be back in Balerno with two special developments that between them will offer something for all tastes.
“Each location has an individual personality. For instance, Ravelrig Heights will provide homes to suit families craving space and seclusion and will hopefully be well-received among buyers looking to trade up.
“Meanwhile we anticipate that Kingfisher Park will meet the need of many younger families and downsizers also looking to be part of a real community and retain the close link to the city centre.

Ravelrig Heights will be located on a mature landscaped environment, with the seclusion of woodland on both the western and eastern boundaries and spectacular panoramic views to the south east making it ideally suited for those wishing to enjoy a quieter life.
CALA Homes has built several successful developments in Balerno stretching back over 20 years and has also been the main shirt sponsor for local rugby club Currie Chieftains since 2011.

More recently, it has granted £20,000 towards the RRDA’s bid to raise funds for a crucial indoor riding arena.
Ravelrig Heights will launch for reservations in late October from a Customer Reception located just off Lanark Road West, followed by the sales launch of Kingfisher Park shortly after.
