Win a weekend stay in the luxurious Jura Lodge

To mark the launch of the new scotsman.com site we have teamed up with Jura distillery to offer one reader the chance to win a weekend at the exclusive Jura Lodge, a distillery tour and a bottle of 16yr old single malt whisky.

The Isle of Jura, off the West coast of Scotland, is home to an award winning range of single malt whiskies, which hold the promise of good fortune. Populated by a community known as Diurachs (the Gaelic name for the people of Jura), it is a place of myth, legend and intrigue.

The luxurious Jura Lodge offers an eccentric display of colour, décor and stylistic touches. Designed by French designer Bambi Sloan, the lodge’s bedrooms, sea-facing lounge and open-plan kitchen/living room are filled with deer motif crockery, deer-shaped hooks and chairs that are fashioned from antlers. Hypnotic views and the warmest of island welcomes await the lucky winner. The lodge is available for private rental at the cost of £2,500 per night, for a minimum of 3 nights.
