Eden Mill, the distillery and brewery based in St Andrews, has already made a name for itself thanks to the quality of its brewing, with its excellent range of cask, bottled - and now canned - beers. Rather than restng on its laurels owner Paul Miller and Head Brewer Scott Gowans recently expanded into gin and have created an excellent core range of bespoke and seasonal gins.

Perhaps most excitingly the brewery and distillery has recently been engaged in creating a new range of whisky on site and have released several bottlings of their new make spirit, with further plans to offer more bottlings and casks exclusively to their fans.

James brought along four of Eden Mill’s releases - the hop, oak, golf and love gins - and discussed the perfect garnishes for each as well as the best way to serve them. Interestingly, he also discussed Eden Mill’s plans for their new whisky range and allowed us to sample some of the distillery’s new make spirit.

Eden Mills offers regular tours of their craft distillery and brewery in St Andrews, information about the tours, products and the distillery itself can be found here.
