Shetland fish and chip shop ‘best in Scotland’


Frankie’s Fish & Chips in Brae will now compete to be land the UK crown of Independent Takeaway Fish and Chip Shop of the Year as part of the 2015 National Fish & Chip Awards.
It is one of ten shops shortlisted across Britain who are bidding for the ultimate title.

Hide AdEach shop faces a rigorous judging process with assessments on a variety of criteria including product quality, sustainable sourcing policies, marketing initiatives and service. The finalists will now attend a study trip to Norway, organised by award sponsor the Norwegian Seafood Council to see first-hand why the country is regarded as one of the world’s most sustainable fishing nations.
