The Scottish distillery has earned itself a gold award in the Scottish category for London Dry Gins with its sustainably-harvested and distinctive sugar kelp ingredient helping it scoop one of the sought-after top spots in this year’s awards hosted by Gin Magazine.
Isle of Harris’ ‘The Dottach’ gin, infused with fresh and vibrant notes of juniper, coriander, angelica root, liquorice and bitter orange peel, has achieved a cult status in Scotland for its stylish, sculptural bottle and coastal overtones capturing the wild, botanical nature of Harris itself. Now, after judges tasted a variety of Scottish gins in the taste category, the spirit distilled in a small copper gin still has built on its continued success as one of Scotland’s most loved gins.
