Social distancing measures are in place, including only allowing a handful of customers in store and queuing at two metre distances.
Customers will be able to purchase their items with contactless payment methods only and won't be able to provide reusable cups.
The shops which have opened around the UK for takeaway have brought in hand sanitiser stations and Perspex screens to protect customers and staff members as well as having their staff wear PPE.
The South Bridge shop is the only Costa in Edinburgh open apart from the drive thru at Cameron Toll which opened at the beginning of the month.
In Scotland, Costa shops at Elgin Riverside Park, Glasgow Braehead, and Inverclyde’s Port Glasgow have also reopened.
