There are a total of 869 Wetherspoons pubs and hotels spread across Britain - meaning most of us will live close to at least one.
For every person who loves the reasonable prices and traditional decor of a Wetherspoons boozer, there’s another who wants to avoid the music-free interiors and any involvement with owner Tim Martin’s outspoken political views.
But there’s no doubting that the brand is a very British success story and has done plenty to preserve some much-loved buildings that may otherwise not have survived in their current form.
New research conducted by the experts at Q.R. Code Generator has analysed Google reviews for every Wetherspoons in Scotland to come up with a list of the best rated - those that have the highest percentage of ‘excellent’ five star reviews.
Here are the pubs that lead the way in 2024.
