Soul Sister features; ‘What’s love got to do with it’, ‘Proud Mary’, ’Private Dancer’, ‘River Deep Mountain High’ and of course ‘Simply the Best’ and many more...The story follows the highs and lows, passions and heartbreak, of Ike and Tina as their careers soared and their marriage crumbled. • MUSIC: Runrig. The band returns, not that they have ever been away in any real sense, but after an 18 month sabbatical from the touring circuit, the band is back on the road in 2012 with a new tour and a renewed sense of purpose. The break has given the band members an opportunity to pursue many other musical avenues and individual projects, as well as working on new material and planning for the next stage in the remarkable Runrig story. They return to the stage refreshed and re-invigorated, with a re-vamped show and set, working up to, and focusing on year 2013, a hugely significant milestone for the band, when they will be celebrating 40 years in the music business. The journey to 2013 starts now. Usher Hall, Lothian Road, 7pm, £25, 0131-228 1155
