Scots urged to share their special rail moments as LNER celebrates its centenary

Scots have a long history of innovation and input into the wonderful world of trains – now, as LNER celebrates its 100th anniversary, people are being asked to share their magic moments.

From holidays and honeymoons to school runs and day trips, travelling by train connects people, starts conversations, and offers a taste of adventure.

London North Eastern Railway (LNER) wants to hear from Scots with stories to share from their train journeys over the years.

Perhaps you did the last-minute cramming for a job interview that nailed you a promotion, wrote a book, read a masterpiece, started a journey with strangers and ended up with lifelong friends. With millions of people travelling every day, a train journey can only mean adventure awaits.
