Top five movie Mustangs

The iconic Mustang has made appearances in more than 500 feature
films since its launch in 1964. Here’s the Scotsman Motors top five:

1.Bullitt

Whether you’ve seen this 1968 Steve McQueen vehicle or not, you know the car chase. Frank Bullitt tearing through the streets of San Fransisco in a racing green pony car, getting air down Taylor Street and leaving chaos, and lots of rubber, in his wake.

2.Gone in 60 Seconds (2000)

Nic Cage’s love for his modified 1967 Mustang borders on the excessive. We can see why.

3. Diamonds are forever

Bond might be more famous for driving a certain British sports car, but Connery is impeccably cool as he controls his red Mustang Mach 1 on two wheels through a Las Vegas industrial estate.

4.I am legend

Who wouldn’t want to tear through a deserted New York city in a rear-wheel drive sports car?

5.Red Dawn (2012)

Okay, so the film is a bit of a stinker, but mounting a Gatling gun to the roof of an electric blue 2013 Mustang to flush the Reds out of your hometown? That’s got to
be somebody’s American dream doesn’t it?
