Nice little runner: First Mini is star of British design show

A visitor looks at a Morris Mini-Minor at the Victoria and Albert museum’s new exhibition, British Design 1948-2012: Innovation In The Modern Age.

This car, designed by Alec Issigonis, was the first of 5,387,862 which rolled off the production lines between 1959 and October 2000. The exhibition showcases some of the most iconic design from the last 60 years.
