Colin McRae cars at Knockhill Rally Challenge

Rally fans attending the inaugural McRae Rally Challenge at Knockhill will be able to relive some fond memories, with a display of Colin’s cars lined up to wow the crowd.

Spectators at the two-day festival, set up to mark the 20th anniversary of Colin McRae’s 1995 WRC win, will see a variety of competition cars driven during the McRae era, as well as various other cars associated with the late racing legend.

Of particular interest will be the Subaru Legacy and Impreza which helped immortalise Colin in the public consciousness as well as his fully-restored BL Mini — his first competition car which he drove at the age of 16.

The list of cars set to appear at the event, taking place on 16 and 17 May, continues to grow, as more and more private owners offer up McRae cars from their own collections.
