Nostalgia: Striding to the rescue
The popular event was a fixture in Edinburgh for more than ten years, raising millions of pounds for charity.
Now the event is back with a brand new route, with walkers being given the chance to take part in either the 10k or 20k routes, which leave from Holyrood Park.

The walk is backed by the Evening News, which has a long history of supporting charity walks in the Capital.
Actor Gerard Kelly fired the starting pistol which kicked off the Evening News charity walk at Meadowbank Stadium in October, 1992.
