Inside Scotland's new Jacobite exhibition

A major new exhibition of Jacobite relics has opened in Scotland this summer.

The ring contains a lock of hair of Jacobite lieutenant-general James Drummond, 3rd Duke of Perth, who fled after Culloden and died on a ship to France.

Jacobite Clans at Perth Museum at Perth Museum and Art Gallery looks at how the risings tore apart both prominent families and ordinary families in the heart of Scotland and features many previously unseen items, many of them heirlooms.
