Supermarket chain to install cough proof checkout protection screens in all stores

The company is hoping the cough and sneeze proof checkout screens will provide ‘extra reassurance for those both working and shopping’ throughout their stores during the coronavirus outbreak.

Christian Härtnagel, CEO at Lidl GB added: ‘The safety of our colleagues and customers continues to be a key priority for us.
