Scottish Ambulance pays tribute to paramedic who dies in hospital with COVID-19

Tributes have been paid to a paramedic who died in hospital after contracting coronavirus.

The death was announced by the Scottish Ambulance Service this morning.

Chief executive Pauline Howie said: “On behalf of everyone at SAS, I would like to offer my heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to the family.

“Our focus will be on supporting them during this very difficult time.”
