Police give warning on thieves' methods

POLICE in Edinburgh are warning against thieves who use distraction techniques to rob their victims.

In one incident in Craigleith retail park, a man approached a 66-year-old woman asking for change, then put a map over her purse as she opened it and tried to grab money.
