Heinz pulls baby food on fears of choking

FOOD manufacturer Heinz is recalling some of its fruit and custard baby food products after fears that young children may choke on plastic pieces found in an isolated batch.

The products – Heinz Fruity Custard, Fruit Medley baby food in 4 x 100g pots – are identified by batch code 9307 with a best before date of of 3 Nov 2010.

Parents and carers are being advised not to use the product.
