Five more coronavirus cases confirmed in Scotland bringing total to 23
The First Minister announced the latest figures during UK-wide COBRA meeting this afternoon which included Boris Johnson.
The most recent cases include two in Shetland, one more in Lanarkshire and an extra two in NHS Lothian area, the Scottish Government has confirmed.

Forth Valley – 2
Greater Glasgow and Clyde – 3
Grampian – 4
Fife – 2
Lothian – 5
Lanarkshire - 3
Shetland – 2
One of the patients diagnosed at the weekend is a student from the University of West Scotland.
The individual is currently receiving hospital treatment.
Six Nations game France v Ireland was called off this morning, and there were reports the entire final weekend would be postponed until 31 October.
But the Wales v Scotland game will go ahead, as things stand, despite the weekend’s other two clashes being postponed.
