In the wake of even more cancellations, postponements and closures due to COVID-19 precautions, the streets of Edinburgh are rapidly emptying as the government recommend the public to remain at home. The last few days have seen businesses and theatres closing as well as airlines grounding their fleets as travelling across Europe is curtailed.
