Police Scotland posted a video on twitter of two officers dancing in unison next to their work vehicle to “bring some cheer” during the coronavirus pandemic.

The officers perform a routine in time to music while on a break between night shift calls.

In a tweet online a spokesman said: “In between calls on the night shift, Police Constable's Wicks and Porteous were perfecting their dance moves.

“Again, we hope this video brings a smile and some laughter to your day during these uncertain, challenging times.

“Bringing some cheer during #COVID-19

“#StaySafeSaveLives.”

The video comes after total of 366 deaths from Covid-19 were announced today (April 8), the highest daily total yet.
