North England Lockdown: All the areas in affected by new government restrictions

She has asked that anyone who has booked travel to the areas affected to cancel their trip unless it is absolutely necessary.

Anybody who is already in these areas and hoping to come home to Scotland will be allowed, but on their return must minimise contact with others as much as possible for two weeks.

Ms Sturgeon added that this was an “important and necessary precaution” and made special mention of those travelling to celebrate Eid al-Adha, which starts on Friday, asking that the holy holiday is celebrated safely.
