No new Covid deaths in Scotland for ten days in a row

Nicola Sturgeon has said she is ‘relieved’ to see this update

There have been no new coronavirus deaths in Scotland in the last 24 hours.

This brings it to ten days without a Covid-19 death in the country.

The Scottish Government also announced that there were four more positive cases of the virus, and that these four patients would undergo track and trace.

Nicola Sturgeon tweeted: “Very relieved to report yet another day in Scotland with no deaths of people who had tested positive for COVID.

“The 4 new positive cases (0.2% of people newly tested) will be looked at closely and followed up through Test & Protect. Please keep following all the #FACTS advice.”
