Nicola Sturgeon says she is 'so sorry' that she has to limit the fun young people can have on a snowy day
She said that the rule for older children on exercise is the same as the one for adults.
You are not allowed to meet more than one other person from another household, so kids out sledging on a snowy day shouldn’t be in groups of more than two.

She went on to say that she feels particularly sorry for young people amid the pandemic.
She said: “This should not be happening to you, you should not be away from school and your friends.
"You should not be, you know, under restrictions when you want to take a sledge out on a day when there is snow, I am so heart sorry already for what you're going through right now but it will not last forever and that's the thing, I know it’s hard, but that’s the thing you've got to hold onto.”

"And the more we do that now, hopefully the sooner we can get back to some degree of normality and so by the time the snow comes next winter, nobody has to worry about staying within covid rules, they can go out and enjoy it.”
