The First Minister will be giving her daily coronavirus press briefing on Tuesday.

When and where?

She will be addressing the country from St Andrew’s House in Edinburgh.

Her daily briefings start at the same time every week day, at 12.15pm.

The briefing is streamed live on the Scottish Government Twitter feed.

It will also be aired on BBC Scotland, as well as on our live blog along with all coronavirus updated.

What will she say?

The First Minister will have met with her Cabinet this morning to discuss the current coronavirus restrictions.

It has been intimated previously that there could be stricter measures on the horizon.

It is understood these could include changes to click and collect products, as well as takeaways.

On Monday, Ms Sturgeon warned that patients requiring hospital treatment after testing positive was higher than during the first wave last spring.

There were 1,664 patients in hospital yesterday, with 126 in intensive care.
