J.K. Rowling reveals she suffered from coronavirus symptoms

The world-famous author says she has fully recovered from her illness

J.K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter book series told fans she had been suffering from “all the symptoms” of Covid-19 for the last two weeks.

The 54 year old said that she had not been tested for the disease, but had taken advice from her husband, a doctor, on how to relieve the respiratory symptoms.

In a tweet the author said she had recovered.

She shared a YouTube link to a breathing exercise that she said had helped her symptoms, adding “Please watch this doc from Queens Hospital explain how to relieve respiratory symptoms.”

Yesterday Rowling made headlines when she tweeted: “If you’re a ‘life coach’ who’s on here implying people are losers if they aren’t learning a new skill/building a brand while on lockdown, maybe stop.

People have challenges you know nothing about,” she added, “Sometimes getting through something is more than enough.”
